Our journey begins at the farthest southern reaches of the spanish empire where the lines between friend and foe have been blurred by the great distance from their homes and the seldom news of wars and treaties of the homelands. Here, so deep in the wild, the taste of wealth and the need for food and supplies are all that concern most folks.
